Problem with a CI Build

May 25, 2011 at 7:00 AM

The following problem occured on our build server after adding PortableTPL reference to our silverlight 4 project :

  • Cannot resolve reference assemblies. Please check the reference assemblies. Could not load file or assembly 'System.Core, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e, Retargetable=Yes' or one of its dependencies. The given assembly name or codebase was invalid. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131047)

The CI server is TeamCity running on Windows 2008 Server x64, we use a huge MSBuild script to manage the build & test process. The build target platform is "Mixed Platforms". Amazingly this doesn't occur on our regular dev machines, the whole thing compiles fine.

Any ideas ?

Hi,
It is possible that you have to install Windows Phone SDK on your build server
can you try that?
